Help with graphs please

Post by cpierc01 » Wed Oct 30, 2013 7:38 pm

I am new to Cpap. I started in June and so far everything has been going good. My AHI at my Sleep Study was 38.6 and now it runs anywhere from 0.6 to a little over 2. I have had the occasional 3.XX but it is usually when I was awake a lot. I feel pretty good each day compared to what I was like before starting cpap. I have tried to post my first graph here I hope it works. I do not understand the Tidal Volume. Each night looks pretty much the same. My doctor and dmd have never said anything about this other than keep doing what I was doing. Please let me know if this looks normal or not. Thank You in advance for the help.

To do the Photobucket image you have to have the image large in front of you...so in your album you click on it so that it is full size.
Once you do that there is a box on the right side with 4 addresses in it. You copy and paste the address in the bottom of that box into the body of your post here and you get this.
BTW..your tidal volume graph looks fine. There's always a lot of jumping around and spikes...don't know why but everyone sees it.
There's a rather large range for "normal". It would only be important if you had some lung disease issues and you would already know about it if you did and not be using the cpap machine to measure volume. I don't even bother looking at tidal volume but some people like to put everything under the microscope. More work than I want to do and not needed to do anyway.

Thank You for your help. I have learned so much from this forum and especially you Pugsy. I feel this forum is a large part of why I have done as well as I have.
