adjusting air flow
adjusting air flow
Does anyone know how to adjust the air flow. Mine needs lowering but I don't want to pay another 200 co-pay just for that.
Re: adjusting air flow
If you're referring to your pressure settings, why do you want to change them?
Re: adjusting air flow
I have a RES MED escape s 8. I somehow accidentally changed it and it is too MUCH pressure..
Re: adjusting air flow
You need to call your DME or your doctor to find out what pressure you are supposed to be using first.
You can find out how to change the pressure here at this link below but you need to know what it is supposed to be.

Re: adjusting air flow
Go to apneaboard.com and download your clinicians instructions, that will give you the exact way to do it.dpr wrote:I have a RES MED escape s 8. I somehow accidentally changed it and it is too MUCH pressure..

Re: adjusting air flow
Do Not change your settings without consulting your doctor. There is a reason that the instructions for changing the setting are not put into the user manuals of cpap/bipap. Changing settings can be harmful to your health.
