Congrats!! So the worst that can happen is that the machine "malfunctioned" and you really had an AHI=0.1!

Papit, as an ex engineer, as you're, I am questioning why the values of any of the Events in your Stats are NOT shown with a number of zero? The AHI is a combination of events which are usually shown in the ResScan Stats with numbers and not hyphens.

Another issue is that ResScan while identifying your machine as an Adapt ASV should NOT have shown in the Stats an entry for Central events.

Could you please show the Stats, with same ResScan setup, for the 3 previous nights?

Congrats on that great 0.0 result.

I was prescrbed an ASV machine and after fighting with the Insurer over it (and not getting therapy during that time), I reached into my pocket to acquire it. I went to a supplier mentioned here (not sure if I can name names) that sells "Open Box" and "Gently Used" machines and paid $1425. That was for a Respironics AutoSV Advanced which was a zero hour machine with the full manufacturers two year warranty. Still quite a bit but substantially less than the price quoted above.

Also, the supplier was great, spent quite a bit of time on the phine pre and post sale answering my questions and would definitiely be my choice over my know nothing DME.

Excellent news and results! If I am remembering correctly, hasn't the move to ASV been more recent? If so, that is great that you are responding so favorably to ASV therapy. When everything just 'clicks' with our therapy it is wonderful. I am sure you would agree that for those still waiting for their PAP therapy to 'click' that giving up will never get you there. You have to just keep fighting...

+1!! I always cringe when someone rains on the 0.0 AHI parade. Like you say, if it is real or placebo, it doesn't really matter. I say lets celebrate with them whether we have or haven't experienced it ourselves, what does that hurt?

The results you are getting with your machine are often the results one sees with modern ASV technology. After all, that's exactly what a ventilator is supposed to do - it steps in and forces you to breathe using very high pressures only when your brain and/or neural system screw up and forget to send out the proper signals. It's been doing it with preemie babies, coma patients and people with certain types of lung disease for half a century. Probably before that if you consider 'iron lungs'. (Note: ASV is generally contraindicated for people with COPD and congestive heart failure, plus a few other more rare conditions). Yes indeed, it is a genuine miracle thanks to the modern world and medical research.

However, for me, the real miracle is how anyone can afford an ASV machine. Example https://www.cpap.com/productpage/pr-60- ... anced.html

And that's without a hose, humidifier or mask PS... there was one being sold in the SF Bay area recently for $500. Wonder what happened to it?

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.

Sharing my best sleep ever. This result comes 2 weeks after using new ASV. Results have been good every night, but not this good.
Not even one hypopnea showed up until one was detected after the noon cutoff.
