Hello,
The last few months w/ my Swift have been GREAT!. I did recently move up from the medium pillows to the large..to reduce leaks...
One thing that has started in the last couple of weeks....I'll sometimes wake up at night as a result of either end of the 'short-tube assembly' becoming detached. Either the larger end (that fits inside the cpap hose) will snap off the short-tube...or the end that hooks into the pillow assembly will come off...
Has anyone else experienced this? Any good hacks for preventing this?
Thanks,

Have you tried removing the velcro that holds the thin hose to the side of the strap and instead using a tape to fasten it to the buckle at the tip of your hear...this will route the hose over your head and to the back of the pillow and take the strain off of the connection. I rad about it on here from LORI and it works better getting it off your cheek.

If it's what I think you are asking, just use super glue to fix it! I have done this many times in the past, easy and solves the problem for good! This has been a miner problem of this great mask and they are aware of it, but if they are doing anything about it I don't know! I have e-mailed them some time ago ref. the above!
Hope this helps,

Excellent!
Good feedback from both of you......I suppose super glue would work...since I don't think those parts need to really come off anyway....I'll try the other suggestion first (tape rather than the retainer velcro thingy) just to see how things go.
Since I've started CPAP, I tend to sleep on my back...and very still....however, that's starting to change a bit....I will find myself rolling over to my left side from time to time (I have the Swift tube sticking out the right side for that reason)...
Thanks

SV,
I've been having the same problem just lately. It really surprised me because with the Swift I've found that I can move around without any problems. I thought it was just me that had the problem, and was considering asking my DME. I wear it without attaching the hose to the headgear.
What was disturbing me the most as how it was disturbing my sleep. Two or three times fully awakened a night. I thought I was getting rid of that problem! Anyhow, I was actually going to try glue this past week.
