OTOH, since A-Flex and SmartFlex purposefully address the inspiratory component of the waveform, perhaps Junior Pressure Support (JPS) would be a more appropriate TLA.

Although technically, I believe SmartFlex Rounding settings 3, 4 and 5 would be more of a Proportional Assist Ventilation type of support as opposed to JPS per se.
