Can you still ahi’s with CPAP If do Why?

It is common for some obstructive apnea and hypopnea events to happen while using an XPAP machine. We generally set the pressure to where it controls the majority of the events, or maybe even all of the events on some nights. It is also common to have some clear airway events (central apnea) and most XPAP machines will not do anything to stop them. The goal is to get the number of events to a reasonable level without resorting to such a high pressure that it disturbs your sleep.
