I am trying to sell my pr system on auto bipap with bi flex

Post by Starone » Mon Oct 15, 2012 4:09 pm

I looked around on web on different sites and have contacted them and awaiting answers. I'm basically trying to get the best offer. Does anyone know a few more sites or ways to sell my bipap?

I have a respironics or system one bipap auto with bi-flex technology and humidifier. I also have power cord carrying case and memory card. I also have a mask with hose but I see that is not to be sold from what I understand at other sites. It has less then 150 hrs used

I am looking at 350$

Please help with info

Why don't you add the price you are asking to your post. You may get a reply from someone on this message board.

It depends how much you are looking for. Craigslist, e-bay.

Why are you selling it? How many hours on bi-pap?

I took pictures. The thing is and I'm gonna post this in the thread as well maybe someone can help. The first machine I had broke and it was under warranty so they replaced the machine but not the memory card. The hours used are 850 and not what I though. Because th memory card was used in the first machine and then put in the second machine without erasing the data of the card is it the new machine at 850 hours or accumulated hours between both machines?

To quote above. I am selling because I no longer suffer from OSA

Gee, that's great, how did you cure your OSA? That information would really help others. Do you have a different diagnosis now?

SD card hours will likely vary from the machine hours since the SD card has combined machine use. The hours used on the first machine won't be transferred via SD card to the new machine though.

To find out the exact machine hours on the newer machine...you need to go into the clinical setup area of the Info section and find machine hours which are separate from blower hours.
Blower hours may equal machine hours if the therapy data has never been reset.
For total accuracy...machine hours is the one to look at for hours of use and I think that is the last line in the Info Clinical menu.

Hmmmm, I always wondered about that... thanks Pugsy.

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.

There's no problem selling hose and mask as long as you tell the purchaser they're used. Respironics has "multi patient disinfection" instructions.

I've used the documented hot water sterilization process on used stuff before. I've even gone a little overboard on the temp limits, but at worst, if I damage it I throw it away.

Do you guys think I should call my Cpap supplier that I bought the machine from so I can ask and find out exactly my machine hours? I just don't believe I have used it for 850 hrs. Something is not making sense
