In Sleepyhead, one can go to the top menu: Sleepyhead >> Preferences and then from the Import tab see a sliding bar scale for Session Settings. This permits you to adjust "Combine Close Sessions" and "Ignore Short Sessions" anywhere from zero minutes to an hour.
What sort of time should these be set at, if you know you will probably have to get up (turning the machine off) and then returning to bed, turning the CPAP back on, and getting back to sleep after a few minutes, for something like letting the dog out or visiting the bathroom?
With my current setting of Close Sessions at 50 minutes and Ignore Sessions at 5 minutes, I am getting Session Information that appears as separate sessions, when I would have expected them to be combined. For instance last night I had one session that started at 2:14 and ran until 2:43, and another that started at 2:18 and ran until 3:55.
How should this sort of thing be dealt with, how should the settings be adjusted to actually combine those sessions? Or do I want this sort of seemingly overlapping data? And if so, why?
Thanks.
