Thanks for the advice!

Post by Snoozing Gonzo » Fri Mar 24, 2006 5:08 pm

I feel a little surreptitious cruising the site for advice, because I have little XPAP experience to share in return. I have struggled with many of the common themes here and on other sites. As my second positive move (starting CPAP and staying 95% compliant for my first two months being the first) I just ordered my first piece of new equipment, a Resmed Activa mask (from CPAP.com of course)! My move was based in large part on the variety of well written reviews, both positive and negative, on this board. A little insurance and a little Flex account and hopefully I’ll be past the leaks and cinched down Comfort Gel.

Next up will be a heated hose. I get major rain even with a cover (turns the leaks to geysers), if the humidity heat is above a 1 setting – and I like 2 or 3. Then I’ll try to get a reader and software. With some work with my insurance company I’ll try a Breeze/Swift/Aura/Nasal II this summer. It’s nice to be generally past the initial break-in time with a new nighttime ritual and have a plan.

Thanks again for the continued advice from the regulars, its very helpful.
