passover humidifier

Post by herefishy » Sat Mar 04, 2006 9:15 am

I got my Devilbiss 9100d two days ago, and I am very enthused. I had none of the problems associated with H/H, and still no dry mouth/throat. I think it is going to be fine.
Oh, by the way, anyone want a hose cover?

Sorry for no response, I'm afraid your post got buried in the avalanche of trouble-makers.

So glad you are getting along fine with your passover.

I would suggest you hang onto that hose cover - that plastic hose can get cold on a winter's night.

The hose cover also helps to scilence the noise of draging the hose over the headboard, whitch sometimes showes up as snores.

OK, you're probably right, I'll hand onto my hose cover.

passover humidifier

what does a passover humidifier do that turning of your humidifer won't do?

I have a resmed lightweight 7 - with only one control off, or 1-6.

This puzzles my feeble mind!

A real passover humidifier has much more surface for the water to evaporte from - a heated humidifier has less free water surface, and therefore is not as efficient at creating humidity when it is turned off.

Devilbiss humidifiers seem to me to have the greatest surface area of any humidifiers made, passover or heated. I know they make a great apap machine based on my experience of using one for many years.
