Resmed S9 Humidifier won't turn off

Sometimes when I turn off the Resmed S9 the humidifier light stays on all day.
Does anyone know what causes this?

Does anyone know how to cure this?

The light for my H4i humidifier stays on all the time.

I have not had that happen. Have you tried unplugging your machine for about 30 seconds and plugging back in to power. See if that resets it. The light on our humidifiers goes out after about 30 seconds.

might light stays on (orange) when warming up and is on for a short time(orange) when cooling down in the morning. But its never stayed on all the time. I wonder if there is a setting in there for lights on all the time?

Normally mine turns off after about 30 seconds.
Occasionally (today) it stays on all day.
I don't know why.
Asked my DME, and I am sure he will get back to me some time this decade.

Hey all,

I have had my resmed 11months and the humidifier tank has stayed lit 2 times. Both were within 2-3 days of getting my memory card checked by the doc. Both times i first tried cleaning the tank to fix it and when that didnt work i unplugged it and detached the humidifier to see if something was wrong. Both times i found nothing and put it back together and the humidifier light turned off like normal.

It's past my bedtime and my ResMed CPAP won't turn on - all of a sudden out of the blue. I've checked the cord into the wall; the cord into the machine; and the water container. Help!
