CMS50E Pulse Oximeter on Windows 7

I've just installed my software for the CMS50E Pulse Oximeter on my Toshiba Windows 7 - 64 bit laptop.

I get invalid COM port message whenever i plug in oximeter's USB cable?

I removed the software and re-installed and got the same problem.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Do you have any other stuff connected that might be interfering with the address it wants? Just a thought. I have had the com error message before but never knew for sure what I did to resolve it.

I got that error message if I have my Nook or Palm connected to the USB hub - apparently they all interfere with the oximeter.

In got this graph in my Toshiba Windows 7 from the CMS50E which tells me nothing about my treatment
