Well, I got a good report back that what I'm doing is pretty stinkin' good and that the info they pulled off the machine, I guess are just averages...
Leak 0.0 (even though on wednesday night i had a leak of 2.6L)
AHI .9
The PA didnt go in to grave detail about it all... but we chatted and asked how things were going... last few days i've been alittle tired... but she's pretty amazed about my positive attitude on this thing...
one she said kinda stuck out though... she said that if leaks were more 10, then there is a problem... i thought it was 24L/hr
I haven't pulled my graphs lately from my own personal laptop but things are going pretty good.
I dunno if any of you had to sign this form about now that you have been diagnosed with a sleeping disorder, that if you get into a car accident due to falling asleep at the wheel, you will be held at fault and charges brought if this happens, because your doctors are aware, the sleep clinic is aware and you as the patient are aware.
I ordered the ClimateLine from cpap.com and it should be here tomorrow. Yay!
Anyways, thought I'd share my happy dance with you!

Yikes, making you sign that is pretty scary tactics to get compliance, but the reality is that it's true. If you fell asleep at the wheel and there's a lawsuit, if the other side discovers your sleep apnea they can probably get your medical records and your only defense may be your compliance, perhaps even the efficacy data.I dunno if any of you had to sign this form about now that you have been diagnosed with a sleeping disorder, that if you get into a car accident due to falling asleep at the wheel, you will be held at fault and charges brought if this happens, because your doctors are aware, the sleep clinic is aware and you as the patient are aware.

I'm in Virginia and haven't been asked to sign such a form. The thing is if you drive sleepy and have an accident you are at fault and should be responsible for the consequences. Kind of like driving drunk, or on drugs.
