Initializing Respironics Smart Card

Post by Mr Bill » Wed Oct 26, 2011 9:33 am

My smart card died a week ago. So I ordered two more from CPAP.com and they arrived yesterday. I used EncorePro to set up the card and it works. However, it is starting over showing reports. Does anybody know how to put the last few months of data on the card so new data is in context? Or failing that, is there any way to get the card to dump into the same date range bin that I was using previously?

Can you not use the same patient ID and have continuation of data?

I am unsure if using the smart card utility program that we used to use to erase the smart card would help you now because one has to take the data off the old card....store it...erase smart card..and replace the data using that program. That is what we did a couple of years ago but that was using the same smart card.

I don't know of any way to take data from Pro and move it. But you are more computer guru than I am.

Do you know which card utility program I am talking about? It is no longer available because the website closed but I have it on my computer in zipped format.
If you wish to try it..I can send it to you..just send me your private email address. Needs to be email address that won't bounce back an attachment containing .exe file. I have had that happen to some who have requested it.

I forgot all about that! I think I do have that utility. Let me see if I can find it on my XP laptop.
