How can I get the data from my SD Card.

nothing exciting there to find

an escape only records data on usage -

no apnea, leak or other "good" data

Absolutely you can download the data, there are sources for the software if you ask around here.

BUT . . .

Why bother??

You've been stuck with a brick that only records compliance data--hours of use. I'm sure you already know how many hours you use it--you don't need the macine to tell you.

If you want EFFICACY data you need a machine that records efficacy data. The ESCAPE doesnt.

Take a look at "What you need to know BEFORE you meet your DME" on my blog--link below. You were suckered by your DME. If you want to try to get a data capable machine, search for "help! I'm stuck with a brick" on my blog.

Never mind. I see from your other post you've had your machine since June. Too late--you're out of luck unless you want to buy your own machine.

I always press the info and double check buttons simultanously for 3 seconds each mornign to get AHI and hours of sleep.
Figured that out downloading the resmed manual here on this board. I plan to talk to my doctor and try to upgrade with my DME someitme soon. I have only been at this about 3 weeks.

When I purchased my second machine, it was way less money than my first machine.
Such is the difference between buying locally and from CPAP.com
Remember, no matter who sells a machine, all of a given model come from exactly the same place originally.
And the same humidifier is used for all the S9 models, so I was able to use the original humidifier.
--and I switched from an Elite to an Autoset!

Your Profile shows the ResMed S9 Escape yet you mention seeing the AHI on screen.
The S9 Escape doesn't show AHI.
Now the S9 Escape Auto will show AHI and pressure but that is all. I wouldn't want either of these 2 machines.
Perhaps you have chosen the wrong machine in your profile?

Pugsy, You are correct I have the Escape Auto. I will fix it in my profile. Thanks for letting me know. I am a newbie learning. I joined this group after receiving my machine and have been trying to learn as much as I can.
Cheers.

P.S. I just got back from trying to edit my profile. Escape Auto is not a choice only Escape so what am I missing

I don't think you are missing anything in the equipment choices. All the choices link back to a product that cpap.com either offers or has offered in the past. I don't they have ever sold the S9 Escape Auto so it won't be listed.
To avoid forum members continually pointing out that the S9 Escape (as shown in profile) offers zero data, you might also mention in your comments section that you have the Escape Auto and even mention it in your posts because some members don't read the comments. Just so that members know that you know the deal with the Escape Auto.

You are fully aware of your machine's limitations and if at all possible it would be an advantage to you to have a machine that offers full data. Missing leak data is a killer for me. How in the blazes can we trust AHI if we don't know leak is okay?

So keep that in mind. Don't know your circumstances nor how long you have had it but if you could get it swapped out for the S9 AutoSet you would have full data advantages at your finger tips if you run into trouble.
Have your read Janknitz blog about what to do when you realize you have a brick (non data machine)? While your machine does technically offer data, it is sorely limited. Scroll down the page to see the part about "the brick"
Some very helpful information there.

Thanks again pugsy for the good advice. It is in my plans to get an exchange with my DME supplier.
