Well, the good news is that I'm back from my CPAP hiatus!! As of Thursday night I'm back on the hose with my new Remstar Auto..
The first night I left it set to the range my doctor suggested, 8 - 10 cm. I tore the mask off after 3 hours and when I checked my data my 90% pressure was 9.6 cm.
Since 9.5 was where I had the best results on straight CPAP (well, a _handful_ of good nights, really), I set it to CPAP w/CFlex last night, 9.5cm with CFlex setting, 2.
Well, that worked great.. I slept like a log for 10 hours...!! I was definitely playing some catch up from the past few nights. But the problem is, when I tried to download last night's data from my card into Encore Pro, it came through as only 10 minutes...basically it looks like it only recorded the time I had my machine running to dry out my mask hose.
I know I had a decent night because I still had my mask on in the morning and I felt ready to wake up, plus the LCD window on my machine says like 13 hours now.
Any ideas why that would be? I'm using the next-to-latest versions of EncorePro and myencore... not 1.5 but the one right before it. Not sure if it's because I was previously downloading from a Pro2. I didn't think you had to clear your database or anything when you switch machines, because they designed it for use with multiple machines and patients. Oh, well.
Encore Pro hours not recorded last night..
I just had a similar experience with Encore Pro 1.5 & trying to download data from my BiPap Pro 2.
1) The data date seemed to b 1988
2) I can't seem to find all the reports
3) Encore Pro says I have only used the machine for a few minutes
but I used it two nights in a row.
To fix the date, I exported the patient file (biggish) and used an editor
to substitue 2006 for the 1988.
But am mystified by the inability to locate the full nightly reports. I have
got a summary report but absolutely no detail stuff.

xPAP and Quattro std mask (plus a pad-a-cheek anti-leak strap)
Another problem I just struck was that I have data from an earlier version of EncorePro when I was using a Remstar AUTO. I had exported the patient file which got written as dsm.xml
But when I go to import it into 1.5 it appears to only accept *.enc files as input ?
If anyone has an answer to this I would be grateful.

Well, mine did pretty much what I was hoping it would do...It seems to have cleared itself up and I am back on track with my downloads again... I just have to chalk it up to a glitch between switching modes, machines, starting with a new smartcard.
I was a little concerned, though, because my AHI was wicked low last night (Only 0.5) -- which is great -- but my summary claims that there were two, 72 SECOND apneas!! Usually they're like 12 seconds or something, so I just found that to be a little disturbing and I'm telling myself it had to have been when I switched the airflow on and off a couple times when I was setting up.
