Intellipap Auto instead of the F&P ICON auto
OK, when I talked to the Cpap store they told me the same thing about the F&P ICON auto and the difficulty buying/obtaining the software and/or finding someone that can help me troubleshoot. They said their most popular was the DeVillbiss Intellipap Auto. I am really thinking of ordering this unless someone on this forum puts up a good argument as to why I shouldn't buy it.
Thanks everyone.
Thanks everyone.

I have no doubt, how I sleep affects every waking moment.
I am making progress-NOW I remember that I can't remember

If this isn’t rocket science why are there so many spaceshots?

I've had mine a year and love it...... you can't go wrong!
You can buy the IP Auto with humidifier included for $425 here:http://www.secondwindcpap.com/ Scroll down the page.... they also have the software package available.

had mine a little over a year and have been happy with it. When I bought mine they did not have smartflex.... but a simple firmware upgrade from their website with a serial cable and poof! it is now just like the new ones they sell.....

Nah, waste of finger tips. The lack of some data on the reports, that I find valuable, would be a no go for me but that is the geeky side of me speaking.GumbyCT wrote:Shall I repeat my post here?

I've had mine going on 6 months and I like it. Between the two I'd go for Intellipap for sure.

I think I will go with the Inteliipap, you guys have been very convincing. Is it worth the $125 to buy the extra software or can I get enough off the compliance reports to make the sleep doc happy? He just said I needed to be able to run a report for him plus it had to have the auto ability i case we need to change to that setting, it needs a humidifier. So I think this one is it. My insurance company will only pay for 1 machine every 5 years so I like the 3 year warranty vs. 2 years on the other machines out there.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.

The software is absolutely worth the price. It will give you much more detailed information so you can zero in on any problems or issues to be resolved. The Smart Codes off the machine, will only give you the 'big picture' whereas the software is more finite details.
