Encore Pro v 2.5

Post by Paper_Nanny » Tue Jul 05, 2011 10:25 pm

My new PR System One BiPAP ASV is all ready at the DME, but I need Encore 2.5 to get my data.

Does anyone know from where I could get a copy of the program?

I really want the smaller, lighter, quieter machine with the wave form data, but I have to find the software first!! Any assitance with this will be greatly appreciated.

Deborah

The version you need it set by the operating syster on your computer (32 or 64 bit). check p.m.'s.
Use data to optimize your xPAP treatment!

cpapdork (Mike Hoolehan) is the guy behind Onkor. Not sure on victormiller's part. (No offense meant here, I don't know what his part is) http://www.onkor.net
Onkor is web application based, and very pretty. But it doesn't have ASV support yet..

There is also SleepyHead, my little cross platform desktop project, but it currently does not support ASV yet either...

I do have some good news for people using ASV, last night I managed to crack open the ASV data format, it's uses a similar format to other System Ones machines data, but it uses different codes.. All that's left is examining which code is which, which can be done graphically now by comparing to a printed report.

All going well there will be an updated SleepyHead preview for ASV users uploaded in the next few days.. (Got a friend visiting at the moment, so not heaps of coding happening.. may take a little longer.. All I need is one good hack-night to finish..)

You and Mike are awesome for doing this!! I know nothing about programming. I did raise my boy to be a pretty darn good programmer, so don't tell him I said this, but... I do so very much admire those who can do that. And even more so I admire those who are willing to help out those of us who can't. Big thank you to you and to Mike.

It is 32 bit. Check pm for additional questions.
Thanks.

Please start a thread comparing the new generation ASV to the old. I am darned curious.
EPAP min=6, EPAP max=15, PS min=3, PS max=12, Max Pressure=30, Backup Rate=8 bpm, Flex=0, Rise Time=1,
90% EPAP=7.0, Avg PS=4.0, Avg bpm 18.3, Avg Min vent 9.2 Lpm, Avg CA/OA/H/AHI = 0.1/0.1/2.1/2.3 ... updated 02/17/12

I think Goofproof is right. V 2.5 is for 64-bit machines. I think you need 2.4.

PM Uncle Bob or Pugsy.

No, I need v 2.5. It is for my new PR System One BiPAP ASV and it needs v 2.5. I already have 2.4 but it doesn't work for the newer machine.

SleepyHeads ASV loader is now complete.. It's just waiting on me to do make it pretty and add the calcs & overview stuff back in..

For the technically curious, the new ASV machines are Family "5" and have different event codes to a normal System One.. (same structure though). They also have 2 major waveforms stored in the .005 file instead of just 1: Flow Rate & Mask Pressure.

Encore 2.4 doesn't know about these new codes.

Not me. I'm just interested in getting it to work. Unfortunately I can't get either onkor or SleepyHead to work for me. I managed to upload all of the data from my SD card to onkor.net. However, either onkor.net website has been non-functional for the last week, or there is something about the my data that causes it to crash. When I go to http://onkor.net, I'm presented with a login screen. I type my username and password, and then it sits for a long (30 minutes!) time without doing anything, and then I get a screen that says that it gets error 500. With sleepyhead, I install it on my PC (or Mac), start it up and insert my SD card. It starts reading my data, and then it bombs out. I have a project of looking at the code to see how to read and interpret the data on the card myself, and write my own Python program to do this.

Victor

I'd be interested in 2.5 as well. Everything I own is 64 bit
