Is there any reason you cannot use nasel pillow masks and auto CPAPS? I read tha you should not...is it because the sensors are less efficient?
Thank you.
Auto CPAP and nasel pillow masks?
Re: Auto CPAP and nasel pillow masks?
I don't think that your information is correct.
I use a machine in auto mode and I use nasal pillows - have for a couple of years now. Lots of people do.

Re: Auto CPAP and nasel pillow masks?
Absolutely no reason not to use nasal pillow masks with an Auto. They are the most comfortable and easiest to use masks ever. Most nasal pillow masks work well at even the highest pressures.
I have heard that the auto off sensors sometimes don't work well with nasal pillows, but I don't like an auto-off sensor anyway--it could shut off due to leakage during the night and you can go on sleeping without your PAP working. I'd rather have the leak wake me so I can fix it. So you might want to turn that feature off if using nasal pillows
