MyEncore for EP 1.5 Beta 7 hopefully fixes access prolems...

Post by derek » Sun Dec 11, 2005 7:18 am

Hopefully the latest version of MyEncore for Encore Pro 1.5 fixes the problem with access to the database reported by many of you. The problem was with the way Encore Pro installed the MS SQL server if you were doing a clean install, as opposed to an update from Ver. 1.4

You can download the latest beta version (Ver. 15B7) from

Download MyEncore Ver. 15B7

Note: This version will not work with Encore Pro Ver. 1.4.xx. It is designed explicitly for Encore Pro 1,5. You can still download MyEncore for Encore Pro 1.4 from cpaptalk.com - see the "sticky" at the top of the forum.

Another minor change: the average values of daily indices reported at the bottom of the graphs are now "rounded" instead of being truncated.

As usual, uninstall previous versions before re-installing. I also suggest you check the "Install for everyone" box on the install screen.

Let me know if you have problems.

Thanks to Ric and Jerry69 for their patience and assistance.

Derek

Derek

It works for me. Thank you for all the effort that you have put into this. Not many people would bother to share.

Wow

Not only does it work, but the presentation of the data is really useful. Much better than the native EncorePro reports. It is amazing how much better the information becomes when the motive is to give the best information possible instead of determine how to best soak the insurance company for as much as possible.

In about 5 min. I was able to get a much more accurate view of what my pressure needs are and how I am being treated than in hours of looking at the native charts.

I only wish that my doctor had used something like this 21/2 years ago instead of assigning a presure based on a short split night study. I could have avoided 2 years of too much pressure, increased mouth leaks and, and would still have had great treatment.

Derek, thanks again, and if you ever sell this instead of giving it away,i would love to buy a copy.

I've thanked Derek privately, but I want to add my thanks publicly.

There were just a couple of us who were having a problem getting My Encore to run with Encore Pro 1.5. He took the time to work up a new version so that we could use it, too.

Jerry

Derek,

Thanks for your persistence in nailing this problem. Until yesterday I didn't even know what I was missing, I hadn't actually seen your graphics. The charts and graphs are a splendid supplement to the basic information provided in EncorePro. For example it is much easier to visualize the across-day trends in some of the clinical values, the stuff I'm interested in, not just compliance. I'm not dissing the EncorePro application either, they put together a nice package for the clinician with multiple patients, and I'm happy they make it available for FREE, (even though I previously bought the 1.4 version about a day before the 1.5 came out). Their screens clearly emphasize compliance. And for the APAP they have a nice titration table. Yours pulls the same data elements and presents them in a way that would be almost impossible to do "mentally" by reviewing the day-to-day-to-day... charts in EP, and it does it visually. Very nice.

And thanks for your diligence in addressing the current issues. You did this on a weekend when you would MUCH rather be outdoors shovelling snow. (or was it the other way around? heh!)

You done good !

Is it too early to use if you have a '98 os?

Derek,

wow... just installed this to go with Encore Pro 1.5.
Excellent.... I'm so thankful to you for writing this. It's VERY clear from my limited data run on new equipment that while my originally (5 years ago) titrated pressure was 8... I see a DEFINITE reduction in AHI at 9.

I had my REMstar auto set to 6-10 and I'm going to raise the upper limit to 11.
It doesn't look like I ever quite reach 10 ... looks like 9.5 is the highest I've gotten. But EncorePro must be rounding UP in reporting?

Anyways... thanks again for such a useful tool.

Bump!

If this thread could be kept at the top, it may prevent a lot of compatibility problems for the new folks who are downloading Encore Pro V. 1.5.
