Re: Opening H5i tank to clean it
This is the third style of tank I have seen for the S9. How many are there? Mine has plastic clips on the sides to lock the lid in place and is easy to disassemble and clean.

Re: Opening H5i tank to clean it
The "dishwasher-safe" version of the H5i humidifier chamber is available at our sponsor's site https://www.cpap.com/productpage/resmed ... amber.html and is made of stainless steel.
The aluminum tank that comes with the H5i heated humidifier won't last forever. Water, even distilled or deionized water, is not kind to aluminum. Eventually it will begin to oxidize, then pinholes will develop and the tank will leak. That can be avoided by replacing it with the "dishwasher-safe" H5i tank which is made from stainless steel.

Re: Opening H5i tank to clean it
Thank you! Mine is new right now, but I wondered what I would do when it got older and needed a good cleaning. I saved this to my CPAP folder.
