PPM is giving Terrell Owens a Real Edge on the Field

'Bengals WR is Mid-season NFL Comeback Player Of The Year with the Makkar Pure Power Mouthguard'

You see, T.O. is using the Makkar Pure Power Mouthguard, or PPM – a device like no other. He indicates that the PPM is a key ingredient to his success. Dr. Anil Makkar, a renowned neuromuscular dentist in Canada is the inventor of the device.

“I am always trying to do what I can to get an edge on the field… Once I was fitted for the proper bite of my mouthguard I instantly thought to myself that the science behind this product is simply amazing. I used it during practice, and again was blown away.”

“The science is based on the position of the lower jaw, when the lower jaw is in the right position it aligns the neck with the spine,” he says. “When the body is in a perfect erect position, you experience a number of benefits. Unfortunately, a large percentage of the population is not in proper alignment.”

Instant balance is achieved, because the lower jaw has come down and forward

Over 400 professional athletes are using the PPM, with representation in Major League Baseball (MLB), the National Basketball Association (NBA), the National Hockey League (NHL), the National Football League (NFL), the Professional Golf Association (PGA) and most sports in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). As well, there are over 1,000 collegiate, Olympic and amateur athletes who have embraced the PPM phenomenon.

Hi Rooster

I wonder - would this device keep the throat open during sleep?
or would it be able to minimise apneas?
and what about Centrals?

so.................I wonder

cheers

Mars

Watching the Bengals right now and looking for Terrell's remarkable improvement from his prior performance ...

It makes sense to me that any time the body is properly aligned in any way it would benefit performance. But I need more than declarations by those who stand to profit to jump on the bandwagon.

Mars,

They say
Instant balance is achieved, because the lower jaw has come down and forward
So if the lower jaw comes forward there is a chance it would eliminate breathing problems during sleep.

I am not sure of what they mean by "the lower jaw has come down." It seems that would cause you to breathe with your mouth open all of the time you are performing athletically. We were taught to breathe as much as possible through the nose when playing sports.
