CMS-50F question

On the clock interface there is a field called week. Any idea what that is? The wrist strap is ridiculous. A simple fix would be to swap he velcro and ring, which is how I think it was designed and no one noticed the mistake, which is why it is so hard to assemble. Also, the ring needs to be a wee bit wider.

On further inspection, the value only ranges from 1 to 7, despite showing 2 digits. Most likely this is the day of the week then. They could figure it out from the date but they were too lazy or didn't want to waste memory on the date library. Not clear at this point which day is 1 and which is 7 though.
