PR System One air filters

Post by freshair » Tue Oct 26, 2010 10:21 am

I have had my PR one plus for 32 days now w/o any problem until last nite--When I got up in the middle of the nite I found my sponge and white filter on the floor, then this morning it was there again--read where to either cut white tabs or place white tab at bottom--but I can blow though my hose and the filters will still come out--someone told me that you shouldn't beable to blow out bcause there was a valve to prevent that ?--any suggestions--I can't spell or type- tks- FA

The old style of white filters like to fall out. There is a new version on the market that stay in place better. You can try trimming your old ones until you use them up. As for the nonrebreathing valve you are asking about, it will not prevent you from blowing into the air hose. In fact, that's the way I let my ASV know that I'm still alive and breathing....
