Looks like I might be wrong about the pressure/ rain out connection.
hmmm, and is my memory playing me tricks, or did you really start out higher?

O.
Hi O

I change my pressure like most people their underwear.

I started on CPAP 7.5, but have since moved on to Auto 4-10 or 7-10 depending on the mask. FF is 4-10.

I would like to buy the heated hose for the CPAP. I have the Respironics Remstar Plus.
Which model should I order that also includes the power adapter?
Thanks,

The power adapter is not included with the hose you'll be ordering for your REMstar.

Here's a thread about the power adapter:

I don't think you can get the power adapter from them. You are on your own (radio shack, etc). It is completely standard. You probably have several laying around your house already and didn't know it. I was lucky, I just HAPPENED to have a whole drawer full of power adapters. It needs a 12 Volt output. The power adapters they sell "down there" you wouldn't want.

The 'mercan version is SZ2 if you have a TYCO CPAP; the SZ3 for PBGoodKnight420, or SZ4 for F&P Respironics Resmed DeVilbiss.

If you have trouble finding the power adaper, PM me and I can tell you several sources to get that online.

I've been using the Aussie heated hose for over a year now. Works amazingly well!

I run my hose from the battery backup, The voltage is 13.2 and it seems warmer than with the 12v wall wart from radio shack. The RS wall wart gets hot as well. Cheapo Chineese made. I don't care for it. MIght burn the house down. lol:

I should have plugged this hose awhile ago, it is a great product. I run mine with the humidifier set at 2, don't see how you can use a setting of 5, would fell like the amazon to me
