Pressure reading

Post by Coolsideofthepillow » Wed Aug 25, 2010 6:16 am

My machine reads 30-10-10 on the display. When I go to sleep and turn on ramp it reads 4. It is supposed to fully ramp up to 30 in 25 minutes. When I get up in the morning and glance at the display it shows 10. Nowhere near 30??? Thoughts?

What machine do you have? What pressure is it set at? Do you know the machine settings? What mask do you have?

We need more information to help.

I don't think any machine goes to a pressure above 20. 30-10-10 looks like 30 October 2010, but that would make no sense as a display!

If you can't figure out how to add your machine to your user profile through the User Control Panel, put it in a post on this thread. All your equipment, to be really useful.

20 is the limit for CPAP (and autotitrating cpap) machines, but bilevel (including bilevel auto) machines can go above 20.

I think Coolsideofthepillow uses a Respironics BiPAP Auto SV machine.
