Well I finally stopped taking it off at night. But it does seem to slip off by itself during the night. I have worn it both under and over the mask and it happens either way. I have it very tight to make sure my mouth wont open. It can't be this hard, it is not a complicated thing
I was considering maybe using a bobby pin to pin it in my hair somehow? I don't know, any suggestions? Thanks!

Re: Chin strap question..
When I have a patient that has a slipping chin strap, I angle it back more. That is, I take the top portion and move it more towards the back of the head. You may have to loosen it a little to get it back there, but it should anchor it better. I hope this makes sense. If not, I could try to explain better or provide a picture. let us know how it goes!

Re: Chin strap question..
I will try that, sleepmba, thanks!
PetrusKY, I have no clue! It was my Dad's, he gave it to me when he got his full face mask, so I don't have any of the info on it. Sorry

Tried it and it was still on when I woke up! I also made sure it was super tight.sleepmba wrote:When I have a patient that has a slipping chin strap, I angle it back more. Re: Chin strap question..
Now that it stays on, maybe you could loosen it a little...perhaps more experimentation is in order. I'm glad you are making progress!

Re: Chin strap question..
For some reason chin germs aren't as bad as mask germs I am a teacher so I am pretty much a walking petri dish anyhowPetrusKy wrote:And you took it? I thought you were a germaphobe? LOL.Jaylee wrote:PetrusKY, I have no clue! It was my Dad's, he gave it to me when he got his full face mask
