A little confused with my S9
A little confused with my S9
Hello All, I have a new S9 and every morning check my usage data by holding the 2 buttons. For some reason, every day it says average usage is 2.3 hrs. It doesn't change. I'm thinking I might be doing something wrong because the sleep quality time changes nightly. Not sure what is going on.
Which brings me to my next question, could someone please point me in the direction on how I can get the software to track my progress more accurately? I'd love to make sure I'm progressing, but I don't know if I should trust the panel readout. Thank you for your help.

Hi Mavrick,
Try pushing the "i"-button once when you wake up.
You should see the usage from the previous night, and possibly your AHI and mask-fit smiley.
Do this before noon, otherwise it will read 0 as it prepares itself for the upcoming night.
If you don't see the smiley and AHI, you need to change the settings in the "forbidden" menu.
As for the software, you might expect a PB in the coming days, otherwise post a request message in one of the "S9 software"-topics.

Re: A little confused with my S9
Silly as it may seem - the setting for date/time is buried in the Clinician's menu. Check that - mine was wrong and giving me similar weird numbers.
I can't seem to put my finger on the url for the manual at the moment, but if memory serves you hold down the round knob thingy while also pressing the setup button for 3 seconds.
There's probably a standard comment that this group uses about not changing settings without your clinician's guidance but the time should be a no-brainer. I used this myself to write down all the settings that were put into the machine just in case it lost it's mind at any point and I had to reset it.

I had a similar problem with the time being screwey with my S9. Try turning it off at the power outlet and turning it back on again - fixed it for me.
