Sleep weaver mask

Post by Tanna » Thu Apr 29, 2010 12:11 pm

I was wondering , has anyone tried this mask? I was reading about it and it looks interesting. last night was my second night using the cpap and I noticed that the mask was putting pressure on my face and this one seems as though it would be more comfortable. Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks

Yes, I have tried it. First of all, I could not get it to seal, anywhere, for even a short amount of time. Second, it had a seam under the nose that would have driven me crazy if I could have worn it. I returned it.

I have a Sleepweaver and like it, used the online video to learn how to adjust it for best fit. I find it comfortable and very easy to clean. I've been using CPAP for over a year, though, and have a fair amount of experience with different masks; I don't know that it would be a great choice for a "beginner" unless your provider can give you fitting assistance. (I also currently have a Swift LT for Her and switch back and forth.)
