Ever Seen This?

I recently purchased a new S9 Autoset for my wife, along with the Swift FX mask. Everything seems to be working very well but the readouts seem a bit odd.





None of the events are occurring during the high leak rate times.

That's not at all unusual.......regardless of which machine a person is using.
Too much leakage can skew the detection......and, not all events occur during leakage. In fact, if there is "some" leakage, it may increase the airflow and benefit the user with extra air to breathe......which may eliminate the events.

I'm not well versed on Resmeds but it looks to me like its an auto? Right?

And it's doing just what you hired it to do? Stay low while you (she) gets to sleep and increase the pressure to reduce events to keep one oxygenated. Right? and keep the AHI low.

I haven't followed the threads but I have seen some titles regarding "data skewing"?

Yes, It took awhile to finally discover that while the chart indicates hubby's leak rate should be around 40 lpm, his is usually around 42-45 with AHIs from 0.5-1.5. On the rare occasions that his LR is at 39 or 40, his AHI is always higher around 2.5 and he isn't as well rested. He does better with a little more airflow.

Next time you're in ResScan, have a look at the Detailed Graph. You can zero in on a much smaller time frame, to see correlations between flow, events, leaks, etc.
