I don't think they are official yet.
I'm using a beta version.
When I find cpap equipment that works,
I want a backup.
I sent a request for a custom order.

FYI

Nice! Looking forward to seeing the official version.

Someone from australia i think posted that he uses new unscented baby wipes dried out , folds them lengthways then makes a slit to fit at the bridge of the mask. You could cut out a pattern like the remzz's as well. I tried it on a pt of mine who uses a quattro but gets a sore on the bridge. I am seing him tomorrow at our clinic , see how its going for him.... steve (clinical sleep solutions).

I made a few tonight and I put the template on my copier and made it smaller and cut out the center in a traingular shape so my nose wll fit in it. I trieed it on with the mask and I like the feel. So I made a few for tonight in case it gets wet with rainout or some thing. I hope it will make my mask feel better will let y-all know in the morning, Have a great evening, Huggies, Fay

Sure. I made my own, out of a piece of worn-out t-shirt.

I don't need one for either of my regular masks, the Comfortlite 2 and the Headrest. But the Zzz-mask full-face that I use when I get a respiratory infection, you bet.

One of the reasons I can't stand full face masks (apart from the fact that I'm claustrophobic) is all that plastic on my face, making me sweat.

I printed out the fitting guide for the Zzz-mask from https://www.cpap.com and added about an inch around it. Cut a small hole for my nose, and voila... instant relief from the full-face mask sweats.

Can't say what it does for the leaks... I have regular bouts of large leaks with a full-face, but almost never have them with my regular masks. Of course, the large leaks COULD be when I'm coughing my fool head off. No way to know: I refuse to wear a full-face unless I have to.

'twas me. I first use the wipe to clean my mask and then I cut it out with a pair of scissors. I cut a right-angled triangle on the fold for the nose/mouth and then an equilateral triangle higher up on the open edge for the eyes. I then open out the wet wipe and place it on the mask with the seal facing up. I like the cool feel of the wet wipe to go to sleep with. I sometimes use the (dry) wipe for a second night. Working well for me. I call them my "mask-mates".

How about using them for nasal prongs??? Fitting cloth around those is a bit more challenging.
I alternate between the original Swift pillow and the Hybrid....both of which have nasal prongs. I use the large Swift pillow and tape my mouth, but still get huge leaks. I think I need caulk around those prongs!!

No comment on the DIY Remzzzs but as an addition to this thread for those with nose bridge pain:

For nose bridge pain or wounds I've had excellent success with this plastic surgical tape by 3Mm both when I had a wound & now to prevent one. It's has a few names, Transpore being one, Nextar? is another. I use a 1/2" x width piece every night (reuse same piece for 2-4 nights). It's cheap & easy to use. You don't need the tear off applicator as it's very easy to tear off a piece bare handed, yet it's very strong otherwise. wiki/index.php/Pain_on_the_Bridge_of_the_Nose - see bottom of page.

Well I tireid the ones I made and they didn't work out. Maybe I should try the t-shirt material and see if that will be better. It stopped any leaks, but when I take off my mask, it falls down and then I can't find the dern thing. I'm going to get the one from the padda cheeck site on payday and that way I know it will be there when I take off my mask when I have to get up. But for now. I'll try the t-shirt fabric and then I had a thought,,, coffee filters!. I have tons of them that are too big for my coffee maker and I might give that a try also. Have a great day, Huggies, Fay...........I like the fabric between my face and mask, but it keeps slipping out. Grr..

I have been using a mask cover made by http://www.PadACheek.com and it's working well! I have the Quattro full face mask and the cover prevents the marks on my face. It also seems to help the seal rather than hinder it. It would be worth checking out.

Can't wait til pay day and then I will get one. No thanks for the pantyliners. I hardly think that would work. I can see waking up and finding it across my mouth! Have a great day, Huggies, Fay... oh yes,, I hope I won't need a script from my Dr to order this thing. Most sites you have to have a script from the Dr to order things. I can understand that for a cpap, but I altready have one.

I was wondering if anyone has made a template for a nasal mask. I wear a small EasyFIt (formerly the Soyala) Would love to try-out a liner for all of those blemishes I keep getting!!! Has anyone decided which fabric/material works best???? So many great ideas here on CPAPTALK!!!!

This is a photo of my RemZzz for a small Quattro. The grid is 1 inch. It is a very thin stretchy knit, like t-shirt material. But it's like that t-shirt that has been laundered many many times, that your husband won't throw out, even though you can see through it.
I took KatieW's idea a step further and created a printable pattern for a DIY full face cotton mask liner. Cut out the pattern and make your own. Now you have a use for your old or unused underwear that no longer fit, have more holes than their original specifications, or contain printed material of questionable taste. I hope this helps someone. Please let me know if it needs editing in any way.

I use somnoplus still - same cushion - also a small - I am currently using old flannel PJ material - the crotch was ripped beyond repair so I grabbed a leg.

I start with a triangle an inch or so bigger than the cushion all around. In the center (I fold it over) I cut a slot then across to form a T upside down. I then cut out the triangle from the T. You need to experiment a little on how big of a triangle you need. I just make sure with the end result I can get the fabric out all around the cushion as well and have a big enough hole to breathe through my nose. Once I had what worked I finally made a heavy paper cut out for the outside of the liner.

It doesn't take long to get something working for this mask.

When you say you you had "what worked I finally made a heavy paper cut out for the outside of the liner." Do you mean as a pattern or did I miss something???

Get a sample REMzzzs for your mask from your DME or even buy a starter pack. If you like them save one. Go to the fabric store and buy the inexpensive t-shirt material for $2 or $3 and use the sample as a template. This is what I do and it works great for me. The thickness of the fabric could come into play that's why I buy the cheap fabric. You could try 100% cotton or 50/50. Good Luck.
