I don't think the batteries are easily replaced although I remember a thread a while back where some Canadian member was able to pry it open to change batteries.
The batteries can be recharged via USB cable but once they finally die, you have to figure out how to open that thing up and then put it back together.
It is not as battery friendly as the SPO oximeter.

President-pretender, J. Biden, said "the DNC has built the largest voter fraud organization in US history". Too bad they didn’t build the smartest voter fraud organization and got caught.

I don't plan on using it every night, although I do have rechargeable AAAs and a charger from Wal-Mart in a drawer somewhere. So that is a good idea. I may do that. I will likely only use the pulse-ox once in a while to check when I make changes to my therapy.DoninOrlando wrote:I am interested after looking at the website but it sounds like the batteries only last 24 hours or roughly 3 days of sleep. Will you be replacing the batteries every few days or did you buy rechargables and a charger ?

CMS50DPLUS: cheapo-looking but convenient recording pulse-ox
Got it in the mail yesterday. Used it last night. Worked great. It is around $100 at semedicalsupply.com if you don't get the case. Free shipping.
It is an overnight recording fingertip Pulse Oximeter. The "PLUS" means that it records and comes with software and a USB cable that can be used to download the recorded info out of the device in the morning. The software works well on my Home XP computer.
First impression out of the box is that it looks cheap. Hey, it is! But the lightweight plastic makes it comfortable to wear at night, I guess. Most of the weight is the batteries. The great thing is that the entire thing is only a clip that goes on the end of your finger, and it runs on two AAA batteries. No wires of any sort to get tangled up in while it records. Nothing on the wrist. Just a clip for the finger. It's all in there. Amazing.
I used some blue painter's tape to make sure it stayed in place all night. I'll try it later without the tape to see if it stays on without that. If you thrash around a lot at night, you might knock it right off the end of your finger.
At first, semedicalsupply.com sent the wrong one, the CMS-50 D without the PLUS--useless to me, since that version doesn't record. Only the PLUS version does that. When I called semedicalsupply, they immediately sent out the right one and a postage-paid sticker for me to use to send the old one back. Hey, mistakes happen, right?. They corrected it, so I'm happy. Why doesn't the manufacturer give the two products two different names to help prevent those kinds of mixups?
Anyway, if you'd like some O2 data but are a cheapskate like me, you may want to consider it in making your choice:
