Water in the ears?
Water in the ears?
The last couple of days, I've felt like I have fluid in the inner ears. Is this common when you start treatment?

Re: Water in the ears?
Not unusual. Pressure from the Cpap can exacerbate fluid in the ears if there is a possibility of that happening in the first place. It isn't necessarily water, but fluid clogging the middle ear.
Re: Water in the ears?
What should I do about it? It's not comfortable.

Re: Water in the ears?
That is an MD issue---you may have to have some fluid drained, and the ear lavaged. Ask your MD about it, as longtime build up of fluid can cause dizziness or possibly an ear infection.

Should I use the mask in the meantime, or would that make things worse?

Anyone know? I'm trying to decide before I go to bed soon.

Might want to try a decongestant if you tolerate them ok.DottyG wrote:Anyone know? I'm trying to decide before I go to bed soon.
