RemStarPro M-Series pressure setting

Post by PurpleSwan3033 » Thu Oct 15, 2009 2:42 pm

Is there a way to unlock the pressure setting function on the Respironics RemStarPro M-Series so that I can change the pressure settings myself? I used the procedure for Accessing the Provider Mode Screens and was able to only a few of the functions but not the one for the pressure setting. Phillips Respironics Customer Service says the pressure setting is locked by my home care provider and only they can access it and unlock it. I read somewhere in this forum that there is a way to do it yourself but I have not been able to locate that information. Can anyone help me with those instructions. (I have an old DevilBiss machine that I can adjust my own pressure on and I want to have that kind of control with my new RemStarPro.) (I also do not understand why this has to be a major project and why the home care provider has to have this kind of control at my expense.)

The instructions have been posted numerous times on the forum.
