I had my second sleep study Friday night and they put me on a CPAP.
When I woke up, I felt better than I have in the last 10 years.
I has so much energy yesterday and it was wonderful.
Today, after not having it last night, I am back to being lethargic.
Could this have just been a fluke? When I get a CPAP, will it really make me feel as good as I did yesterday?

Re: New CPAP user only one time
Hi,
Welcome to the world of CPAP. Many of us have had that same experience during our sleep studies. For the first time in years, I had a glimpse of what the world of the living was like. In my case, I did get an immediate dramatic improvement from CPAP. Others report that it takes some time to pay back your sleep debt. Others still get a big improvement up front, then backslide a bit. The key is to get involved in your treatment, watch your data, and solve problems as they occur. In order to watch your data, you need a fully data capable machine. Push for that, and don't accept anything less.

Re: New CPAP user only one time
yes you can expect things to be as good
the CPAP may take a long time to arrive as some places are slow and badly organised, so you may need to chase after them
meanwhile to may help to sleep on your side or try sleeping in a comfortable chair to reduce the apnea

Thank you so much.
If I had any idea what a difference it was going to make, I would have got one years ago.
