Rebounding [Mini-Trampoline] for Health

Post by 5aces » Mon Jun 01, 2009 9:54 am

Today the Purolator courier delivered my new REBOUNDAIR rebounder from Montreal,QC.

Doing some research into an appropriate form of exercise after a long period of inactivity, led me to consider rebounding.

Now,this unit is gym-quality strength, surrounded in an ABS frame and is called a "quarter-fold" model.
(ReboundAir also has a 'Lifetime' all component Warranty)

I did a 5 minute bounce on the trampoline and quickly realized how unbalanced I had become.

Hopefully, there will be some improvements in the next couple of weeks,it makes me laugh if nothing else...

That's why I got one with training wheels (a balance bar)

It certainly makes a softer landing for those of us with ankle and knee problems.

Nice,Bev!

Us Big & Tall folks usually have to pay a premium for items.

In this case it was $425 can. for a tough rebounder that could withstand 'over' 300 lbs.!

The ReboundAir was one of the few available that could take such abuse.

Needak rebounder is another company that carries "Heavy Duty'" rebounders.

No one wants to touch the floor when jumping,ha ha!

And well worth it to improve your health.
Bonus (or not, depending how you look at it ), children love it. My grandchildren jump until the china rattles.

Some links if you're interested. These are the top rebounders out there and worth it.

I had asked about the bar but was told that balance should improve in a couple weeks, then the bar can get in the way.

Figured I will eventually balance enough to do with out it...
