Facial Hair - Moustache and leaks
Facial Hair - Moustache and leaks
I have a moustache and I don't want to shave it even though I get leaks in my mask at night. I currently can only sleep a maximum of 6 hours no matter what I do as my face and nose are frigid by then and the cold wakes me up. Is there any way I can improve things and eliminate the leaks without shaving off my moustache? I can't bear to part with it! No one would recognize me!

I've had a 'stache, beard, some assortment or other of facial hair for the last 30 years and don't plan to go naked now... use a nasal pillow system (Breeze, Swift, Cofmort-Lite, Snapp, NasalAireII, Aura, etc.,) and continue to enjoy not shaving!
Buy a new hat, drink a good wine, treat yourself, and someone you love, to a new bauble, live while you are alive... you never know when the mid-town bus is going to have your name written across its front bumper!
Well, I don't have a moustache (at least, not one that I'll admit to....) but if you click on this blue word: Search
(or use the Search function at the top of the page) and for KEYWORD enter the word moustache, you'll find 21 posts that deal with this same topic!

I've a moustache and goatee (my wife wanted me to grow them ... unusual, the wives of most men I know want them clean-shaven) and have no trouble with a Swift. I've even used a ComfortSelect successfully.
You might want to get a heated humidifier to elminate the cold air effect. If you have one, turn up the setting (it makes it warmer to encourage more evaporation). If this causes rainout, get a heated hose.
This problem can be solved!
