Who needs CPAP.Com when you have Sky Mall magazine.

Post by tgzlavistane » Sun May 17, 2009 7:20 pm

Have you ever got really board on a flight and glanced at a Sky Mall magazine? The Magazine had several anti snoring devices in it ranging from a Breathe Fit Snoring Aid to a Time to Stop Snoring Wristband. Has anyone ever purchased any of these miracle devices or laughed out loud while reading some of these advertisements? I found it a good way to pass the time while 35,000 feet up in the air.

I always have to laugh when I see those ads. But then I think of people with undiagnosed sleep apnea purchasing these things with the expectation that their "snoring problem" will be solved by one of these contraptions and it's not as funny anymore.

I bet they'd sell a gazillion of them if they could be purchased on the plane - probably delivered to a snorer anonymously after a collection was taken up by other fliers.
