For about a year after I started my CPAP therapy, I would wake up with sharp pain in my shoulders/rotator cuffs and the paid would stay throughout the whole day. I went to the orthopaedist, he couldn't find anything wrong with it, except inflammation of the ligaments with no explanation for it.
Then it suddenly dawned on me: the constant flow of cold air from my mask exhaust blowing on my shoulders (as I would sleep on my sides) was causing the rotator cuffs to become inflammated and painful! Now I bury my hand under the pillow (so that the shoulder is covered) or I pull the comforter up to my neck and voila! no more shoulder pains!
Who knew it would be so simple!
Shoulder pain? Not anymore!
Shoulder pain? Not anymore!

Re: Shoulder pain? Not anymore!
I wish I could get rid of my shoulder pain that easily. One year since surgery and it still hurts to roll over onto it. I thought about cutting a groove in my memory foam topper to fit my shoulder. Haven't gotten up the nerve to fire up the electric knife yet!

Likewise, mine started this week, it's at it's worst when I'm using the computer, neck sore too. It's not cold air from the mask, OTC drugs don't help it.
