You know, that's a great point there, GVD, and I think really goes to the most basic of questions here:
Do CPAP specialty pillows work, period?
Because when you look at the footprint and/or design of these things (Regenesis, PAPillow, Contour CPAP Pillow), the Area of Effectiveness is quite tiny, and I, quite frankly, remain very skeptical that one could say universally something like
This results in a pocket that holds the buckwheat hulls right in the desired area even during active sleep
although that seems academic anyway, because if you're asleep, who cares. CPAP speciality pillows should perhaps be more aptly classified as Wake or Transitional Adjuncts, or another tool to simply get you
to sleep. And maybe that is the area that really needs scrutiny.
As an aside, one alternative-fill pillow that I did note at the time (I believe it was buckwheat, but didn't ask) was about 12 inches wide but like 2 feet long, and that kind of struck me as something that could address "active sleep", or a restless transition period(s).
But if one's present pillow is like 20 years old, maybe the real issue is that you need to get you down to Target and just get yourself a new pillow, cause you're trying to sleep on an envelope.

Moving on, the second thing I noticed and it stuck out rather plainly for me, and I apologise if this has already been noted on this forum somewhere, but can someone please explain to me that a site that is for people needing help with getting used to cpap equipment and offers a range of products for cpapers, why is the lovely picture of the two attractive models in their photo not wearing any type of cpap mask, nor a hint of a hose, zip, nada????
Y'know, I asked myself that very same question about this site:
The Original Buckwheat Pillows Online Store
As a matter of fact, it seems like I go back and study that image several times a day to ask that question.
OK, maybe a couple dozen times a day.
AWRIGHT I HAVE IT SET AS MY WALLPAPER!!
But it's all the interest of science.
Sorta.

PS - RG, Barb wasn't there, but David says "Hi".
PPS - I wonder if that model uses "Pad-A-Cheeks".
