I just started using my CPAP on March 5, 09. I noticed a big difference within 2 days of using CPAP. I have noticed the following: more energy, no more memory fog, no need for morning naps from 7 am to 10 am, not eating so much to stay awake. A friend of mine has mentioned that I look much younger after using CPAP.
On the other hand of using CPAP, I am starting to remember my dreams. I had this one dream which I think everyone will laugh at. For some odd reason, I was dreaming of being in a sea acquarium.. I see dolphins, stingrays, etc. The next thing I see in my dream that there's an octopus on my face and I ended up ripping my mask off thinking there's an octopus on my face. A few minutes later after ripping my mask off, I realized that it was a dream and put my mask back on! Has this happened to anyone? I had a good chuckle over this funny dream.
I find that once I put my mask on at night, I found it best to lay supine for a while. I also have learned to keep my mouth closed. Any advice you would like to share, I would appreciate it. My CPAP is set for 6cc.
Bizarre dream..
Re: Bizarre dream..
Loved the dream!!! Some on here have jokingly referred to the mask as an octopus before, but having a dream about it is too funny! At first I thought you were going to say you awoke with rainout in your mask, but your ending is much better.
Congrats on being one who has seen quick results, and thanks for sharing.
