No, have not gone in for a new test. I will need to book meeting with my Doctor who then has to recommend me to the sleep clinic. This is the way things are in Ontario. Lucky if they see me in 3-6 months...

2. What happened last time that you quit? I had problems mask leaks and couldn't tollerate the pressure I am now on BiPap.

Well, leaks, the cold breeze on my face, not being able to move around, my kids calling me Darth Vader I tried the nasal mask (trial) but could not keep my mouth shut (insert funny joke here). So I flipped to the full mask which seemed a whole lot more comfortable.

Also, I had decided to go on a diet and lost a bunch of weight. My wife said I stopped snoring, so I guess I kinda figured APNEA was gone. Guess what. since then I've put weight back on and the APNEA has come back (that is if it ever really was gone).

3. Did you go to a different doctor or the same one as last time?

Haven't been back to the clinic since. There is only one sleep clinic here in Ottawa, so I presume it would be the same Doctor. IIRC, the doctor did not seem that interested in the process, here you go, sign here, yadda, yadda.

4. What about your DME or clinician are they the same or different?

My DME is a real sweet heart. She is with Medigas, and they have a kiosk right outside rthe door of the sleep clinic. I tried to reach her, but she is on Vacation until the 2nd of March. I'll call her when she is back in.

5. How long since you gave up and decided to get back on it?

I know from reading here that I did not give it enough time. May 2-3 weeks tops. I've read that some people take 3-4 months to adjuest. Guess I figured it would take a week or two tops... I'll be more patient this time...
