Hi all - after trying all 4765432 things suggested to keep my mouth closed with my nose pillows, I gave up and convinced my insurance to fork up cash for a full face. I wish they had given me the full face mask in my sleep study cause it's the best mask I've tried yet.
So now I'm up to about a good 4-5 hours of sleep and see continued improvement... Quick question though;
After 4 or 5 hours, I can't get back to sleep - My body says sleep but my brain says time to go. Thats all fine and well but by the time I've been up for a few hours, I have an energy crash. I'm ok with this and I see it as small steps towards a full night of sleep and I'm sure there are other health related issues that contribute to the whole picture.
I just wanted to see how some of you went through your first few months on a machine. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Up to 5 hours - now what...

Hey Kevin: I think sometimes we've been without good sleep for so long, that we start getting caught up on it after we start cpap. After getting the Quattro yesterday, I slept almost 8 hrs. I haven't done that in a couple months. Did you ever sleep any longer before? I'm pretty new at this stuff, but myself, I think thats what happens...Larry
