Re: ramp
You will need to provide more information for any help. Most users after a period of time don't bother with the ramp feature at all. It should be set in a lower range than your prescribed pressure and goes up until it hits your intended pressure. Sometimes if the start pressure of the ramp is too low you can feel as if you are not getting enough air. Ramp times can vary but as I said we need more info to give you any kind of help. Fill out your profile with what machine you are using, what pressure is being used and what kind of mask you are using. All of this info will allow board members to give you an informed answer to your question.
Good Luck

Re: ramp
I would suggest trying to set your ramp at 2 points lower than your preferred setting also try 30 minutes as you become accoustomed to the cpap you will find you can shorten this time and maybe even stop using ramp feature . If you have a very low setting for your desired set pressure you will find it difficult to breath very low pressures make you struggle to get air in. Best to post your settings and welcome

Re: ramp
Ditto. Cannot stand to use the ramp feature, seems like I'm not getting enough air to breathe when starting out with that gradually increasing pressure. Most users after a period of time don't bother with the ramp feature at all.
