encore pro question

Post by SnoreNoMore2005 » Fri Jan 23, 2009 1:41 pm

Hi Everyone,

Long time no hear from.

I got a new computer and was installing my card reader and Encore Pro onto it, but got a message that I needed to update to the latest version of Encore Pro. My new computer uses Vista. Can someone tell me if I have to buy a new EncorePro version or is there one I can download somewhere? It's been a few years since I installed my last verion of EncorePro.

Thanks for your help.

Encore Pro is not longer on sale for the public ... I do understand that you need the version 1.8 or 1.8i for Vista.

Several post here about Encore and Vista... just do a search.

You have failed to tell us what version you are using. You probably need 1.8.49 or higher.

As long as your Vista is 32 bit and not 64 bit 1.8i.49 and 1.8i.65 will both work. There has been some discussion about 1.8i working on Vista 64 and the new Windows 7 but you have to find the 64 bit drivers somewhere from Microsoft and may have to change thr Registry files.
