Delighted w/ a CPAP Company? Really!!!

Post by Sleeping4aHealthyLife » Tue Jan 13, 2009 1:30 pm

Yes, it's true. I am delighted with my medical equipment company!

Let me ask you, how many of you (like me) have had issues with getting the "little things you need" from your medical equipment company?!? I know that any time I needed something (even something as simple as a nasal pillow), it seems like an act of Congress to get it!!

Well, I found a company that I get my supplies from now that has truly answered my prayers. Allstate Medical! I get my stuff on time in the mail and don't have to hassle with all of the craziness of getting the run around. They call me when I am able to get more supplies and I don't even have to remember what supplies I have because they have it in their computer. They carry all the latest brands like Respironics and ResMed and Fisher & Paykel ... trust me, I've been on them myself (Respironics Comfort Gel mask, Resmed Liberty, Fisher & Paykel Full Face, etc, etc.) I guess you could say I'm a little high maintenance.

Anyway, I figure we always talk about it when someone doesn't do their job, so I figured I would mention it when this company has done theirs. If you need new supplies, call them!!! It's the best thing you could do!

I am so happy I did and I am sure you will be too!

Sounds like the insurance company you have has this medical supply company. I had an insurance co. 2 years ago that did the same thing. Apria told me I couldn't get more than 1 pillow at a time.....which is hard when you plan on being on the road for 6 months at a time. The insurance company provided me a YEAR's supply!!!!

IS the Allstate your insurance company??? Can we that are not insured by Allstate use it???

Outlaswwife47,
Absolutely!! Allstate Medical is the company's name, but they take all major PPOs and Medicare. I have Blue Shield and they take that. (I don't think that they have any affiliation with the insurance company, but I could be wrong.)
Resting Well,

COOL and I feel dumb...didn't notice the web address until after I posted! But is it a web address or e-mail address? I can't get it to come up as a web site. Thanks! Living 30 miles one way from nearest med supply store is a pain!!! This should help!

Can't someone hit their SPAM button and get rid of this guy?????

They took mine away.

Dude - this is inappropriate. You are not a member of this forum, you are a salesman.

Stop.

I currently have a stash of Nasal Aire II cannulas in Small or Extra Small. Please PM me if you would like them. I'm interested in bartering for something strange and wonderful that I don't currently own. Or a Large size NAII cannula. :)

TRUE. THIS IS PURE SPAM! See the Poll also posted here today. PURE UNADULTERATED SPAM. If Allstate Medical IS any good, this SPAM is doing them no good at all and in fact is going to end up doing them harm.

I wanted to say something, and ask if this guy was a shill (after all, his "testimony" sounded like pure ad copy!), but I didn't. I figured I was too new here to make waves.

Thanks, Babette...I just figured there a difference between "total posts" and "total posts with actual content" .

That being said, is this a pretty usual thing around here...shills adding their testimony for companies and products, while appearing to be unbiased?

I haven't really seen a whole lot of that in my first four months here, but I don't read everything.

Guy

Oh, it happens. We tend to jump all over them and they flee. It's not FREQUENT, but I'd say it happens a couple times a month.
