Quattro FFM question

I just got a Quattro FFM from cpapauction which was supposed to be a never used, new in package mask. I was kind of surprised that it came in a blue zipper case, but wasn't in any kind of sealed (or unsealed) plastic bags. Is the way they come now, or do you think I got a used mask being resold as a new one? Thanks.

It has been a while, but as I recall, my Quattro mask came in its own sealed bag and the blue carrying case was separate.

Mine came in a box in the blue zipper case with no plastic bag. But the DME may have taken it out of the bag if there was one.

Anybody else?

If the face cushion is new... it should be almost as clear as glass. However, someone could have still worn it a night or two and it would be still clear as glass. They do start to haze up after some use.

I wash my face cushion every day and had the mask since end of September... my cushion is now somewhat hazy and not clear as when new.

I received the mask inside the blue bag from the DME. If it was originally in a sealed plastic then they removed it... I would think it would have shipped inside a sealed plastic.

Yes, mine have arrived in a sealed baggy, inside the blue zip mesh container.

mine too... but it was assembled, so the seal was not sealed in a separate seal, see?

Just received our Q from the DME today and it was in a sealed plastic bag inside the blue carrying case.

hmmmmmm....looks like I've been had Oh well, live and learn. The mask does look clear, so hopefully it wasn't used too long. I won't buy from a new seller next time. Thanks everyone.

Mine came in a sealed plastic bag containing the blue zipper bag. I think. Bought direct from Resmed.

It may be brand new and not used but just taken out of the sealed bag.
