OSA and Depression?

Post by SnoreNoMore2005 » Tue Jul 29, 2008 4:01 pm

I just saw on TV they were advertising for people with OSA and Depression to participate in a clinical study. I'd never heard of the connection between the two but I'm wondering because I have developed an anxiety disorder although my CPAP treatment seems to be working well. I have very few apneas, my ahi is low but I awake early and take meds for my anxiety disorder. The docs say anxiety and depression are like two sides of the same coin.

It makes me wonder what the connection is (if any) between the two.

Anyone know anything about this?
