H'mm
Since the "Placebo" was a red light, maybe the study should indicate the negative effects of red light.

So what happened to the daylight simulating lights? i do really like them. Turning them off is like closing a great book when you have to go do something else. I would think that they would work even better- JB

SADS

Post by snork1 » Tue Jun 07, 2005 9:37 pm

If you actually read the article, you would note they are talking about SADS, the seasonal light disorder, NOT apnea. (although they are not all that clear about that) This is a whole different problem than apnea, and a very common problem here in the Northwest where winter has some really short days and summer has too much light. I know a number of people that suffer from SADS and a couple of them have had good results with the blue lights and "light treatment". I just wish it worked for apnea.
