Thank you all so much

I don't usually post on message boards, but this board has been so incredibly helpful to me that I wanted to thank you all.

I have been using my CPAP for 7 days now (Remstar Plus, Heated humidifier, Respironics Comfort Gel, and Breeze with Nasal Pillows) and the information, tips and encouragement I found on this board have really helped me through this adjustment.

I still can't make it the whole night with either of my masks, but the success stories I have read here give me the motivation to keep trying and a lot of information to make this transition easier and more successful.

Thank you all for sharing...

Good Luck Zap,

It's good to hear you're making progress. This group has helped many of us through the rough times. It took me close to 2 weeks to start getting comfortable with the equipment and get over that initial hurdle to where I could sleep a good 6 hours with it. It took another 2 to 3 weeks to feel like I was getting all the adjustments, settings, straps, masks, etc etc to where I was optimizing the therapy.

After almost 2 months now it's beginning to become routine. My last overnight oxigenation test came back 100% good, so I know I'm making progress. I still don't feel rested although I do feel somewhat better and my mind is clearer, even if I do have a long way to go.

My point it, it's a big adjustment, it takes time, but I believe the end goal is worth it. So hang in there and keep coming back to this group for support and to discuss related issues and topics. It truly does help.
